The Trust Score Engine

Rather than treating every newly joined user identically, MyProtect computes an automated Trust Score (ranging from 0 to 100) for every member. This dynamic score determines the user’s privilege tier and isolates threat actors before they can post malicious links or spam.

How the Score is Calculated

The Trust Score evaluates multiple objective telemetry signals upon guild entry and adapts dynamically during member interactions:

Privilege Tiers

Based on the calculated score, members are classified into four operational tiers:

1. Trusted Tier (Score 75–100)

  • Unrestricted chatting, link posting, and file attachment privileges (subject to standard AutoMod rules).
  • Eligible for immediate role self-assignment and voice channel access.

2. Neutral Tier (Score 40–74)

  • Standard access to public discussion channels.
  • Slightly higher AutoMod sensitivity on message burst frequency.

3. Suspicious Tier (Score 15–39)

  • Automatic Link Quarantine: URLs and Discord invite links are automatically stripped from messages.
  • Attachment Blocking: Users cannot upload files or embed media.
  • Staff receive an advisory flag in the audit channel when the user interacts.

4. Restricted Tier (Score 0–14)

  • User is placed in an isolated quarantine state pending staff review or completion of an enhanced Captcha challenge.
  • Direct messages to other guild members are closely monitored for automated spam signatures.
